Cheyenne County Assessor Roy Gish predicts Sidney’s taxable valuation will reach about 11 million dollars, with roughly 100 new homes and a dozen commercial buildings addition. Dwynell Hale, wanted in Sidney on grand larceny charges, was apprehended by Lafayette Louisiana law enforcement. He allegedly stole 157 dollars from the Log Cabin Inn where he worked on New Year’s Eve. Deputy Kermit Brumbaugh went to Lafayette to extradite Hale back to Sidney.
