Sidney City Council approves taxi license and payroll actions
The Sidney Nebraska city council met at 7:30 am with Mayor Thorpe and four council members present. They approved Leland Bodeman’s taxi license, denied a salary increase for City Manager Felsch while accepting his resignation, and authorized payment for unused vacation time. Reports on the Treasurer’s and Utilities for November 1967 were approved. A detailed sinking fund resolution allocation followed, and two fund transfers to the Sidney Housing Authority were authorized. The council also authorized hiring a backhoe for the Water Department before adjourning.
