Ida Heineman 77 Dalton Resident Dies After Stroke
Ida Alice Hamilton Heineman, 77, a Dalton resident for 30 years, died Tuesday at Pioneer Memorial Hospital after a five day stroke at home. Funeral Friday at 2 p.m. at Dalton Presbyterian Church, Rev. E. L. Nelson Jr. officiating. burial in Dalton Cemetery. Gehrig and Son Funeral Home in charge. She was born May 20, 1881 in Missouri Valley Iowa, lived in Fremont and Sidney before moving to Dalton in 1928. Survived by husband Hermann Heineman, a daughter Helen Kreader of Dalton, grandson Jan Lee Kreader, and several nieces and nephews.

Wheeler born October 29 1875 in Iowa died Monday at Pioneer Memorials Hospital Dalton. He lived in Dalton 16 years and was hospitalized about three months. Survived by wife Etta Maye Adair Wheeler three sons Leonard Arkansas Melvin Ava Mo Marvin Dalton a step son Carl Adair Oakridge Ore a step daughter Mrs Ruth Muhr Scottsbluff two grandchildren two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one step son Fay Adair. Pallbearers listed.

The Sioux Ordnsinte Depot Lions Club leads a drive to raise funds for month old Gary Wade Mitchell and his twin Larry Wade Mitchell of Brownson who lost one eye to malignancy and face further costs for surgery glasses and ongoing treatment. The boys have undergone removal of an eye and possible future care including glass eyes and regular checkups. Family faced mounting medical and travel expenses with Iowa City and Cheyenne treatments. Welfare aid is limited and no state program covers their illness.

Minor Damage In Two Sidney Auto Mishaps
Sidney police investigated two minor traffic accidents over the past two days with no charges filed. A parked car owned by LeRoy H. Schnell at 1635 Osage sustained about 35 dollars in damage when Harold Miller's car jumped the curb and struck Schnell on the right front door. Miller's car had no reported damage. On 10th Avenue a truck driven by Guy Weaver changing lanes struck Donna Craig's car, with about 16 dollars in damage.

Gehrig and Son Funeral Home in charge. Olsen, WWII veteran, had been a contractor with Mel Adams in Sidney since 1952. He left a note and leaves wife Geraldine Gosting Olsen and four children. Survivors include his mother and four brothers.
