Large Fish Stockings Reported Across Nebraska in November

Nearly 182000 game fish were stocked in Nebraska waters during November with most reaching catchable size. Rainbow trout totaling 111960 were released in Merritt Reservoir, Verdigre Creek, Grove Lake and the Two Rivers area, up to 12 inches. Other stockings included 45000 channel catfish fingerlings to multiple counties, 1500 yellow catfish to Lake McConaughy, 2700 smallmouth bass in Fremont State lakes, and 4900 rock bass in several counties.
