The City Council approved extending electric lines to the Country Club Heights housing project south of town after a letter of credit confirmed adequate financing. Graveside rites for Mrs Wilnes at Greenwood Cemetery
The remains of Mrs. Margaret E. Wilnes aged 74 will be buried in the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. The Gehrig Funeral Home has charge. The Rev Henry Monnich will conduct the graveside service. A former Sidney resident, she died Saturday at Wymore Nebraska after a long illness. She rests beside her husband S. J. Wilnes, who died about seven years ago.

Man Surrenders to Sidney Police Over Check Fraud
Clarence Orcutt, 44, of Omaha, walked into the Sidney police station and surrendered on a federal check fraud offense. He said fear of running from police and harsh conditions drove him to give himself up, and he expressed relief after confessing. Orcutt was held by Cheyenne County Sheriff and awaited federal custody.
