Commissioners Meet Allow Many Bills
The Board of County Commissioners met at the Sidney court house on January 2 with members Frank X Rihn J R Barlow and William M Goding present County Attorney Radcliffe and County Clerk FON Stanson. A motion instructed the judge to have the jail cleaned and charged to ex sheriff Sitton's salary. Another motion to settle with ex-sheriff Joe McDaniel for 27 45 for audit errors during his term passed with Rihn voting no and Barlow coding yes. The following bonds were approved.

Miss LiNie Hougen visited relatives in Sidney after Christmas. Christmas and the remainder of the week was spent by Miss Aura at John Jonson s, Mr and Mrs Carl Osberg and IL 9B Lenfdale went to Potter Tuesday to send New Years day with relatives. Mr and Mrs C E Lonsdale and children spent Christmas with Mrs A W Olson of Potter. There is plenty of snow which a northwest wind keeps constantly drifting.
