New Revenue Law Ruling on Stamp Cancellation
The commissioner of internal revenue amends rules to prevent stamp fraud. For documentary stamps ten cents or larger, affixed to tax payments, makers must mutilate the stamp by three parallel lengthwise incisions after writing initials and date. If already cancelled by other methods, the new mutilation is not required.

Serious Injury in Wagon Accident Near Sidney
Edner, living two miles west of Brangon, was thrown from a wagon returning from Sidney Thursday evening. Found unconscious, he spent the night at Sidney hospital with two broken ribs, brain concussion, and possible internal injuries. He remained critical Friday but expected to recover.

Funeral Rites for Mrs McMullan at Catholic Church
The last rites were held for Mrs McMullan at the Catholic Church Monday at 10 AM after the sister Lena McAleese could not attend. Mass was said Sunday morning with Father Flood’s sermon. many friends attended Monday as Royal Neighbors gathered, and floral offerings were numerous.
