Landmark Tower in Las Vegas Faces Troubled Future

A 31 story landmark in Las Vegas looms as promoters clash and funding dries up. The 80 percent complete Land mark Tower was planned as a hotel casino with a restaurant and dome, inspired by Seattle’s Space Needle. Litigation and changing plans stall work, with six months more expected but no immediate restart. Locals joke the structure tilts while architect Moffat notes only a slight taper and land slope misleads observers.
