Potter resident A V Cronk dies on Chadron visit
Adolphus Valentine Cronk aged 73, a long time Potter resident, died on Sunday December 16 1928 while visiting his son in Chadron after a bout with pneumonia and a weakened heart. Born March 13 1855 he married Mary E Lawler in 1874 and left four sons and a daughter plus his wife. An inventor and early promoter of local telephone service Cronk held patents including a link car coupler and irrigation pump and sought a partner to purchase a half interest.

Mrs G W Horn of Gering mother of Mrs G H Worth died Christmas night after a prolonged illness. She suffered paralysis years ago and death was expected. Mrs Worth was with her mother at Christmas and learned of the death on returning home. Funeral likely today though details unsettled. Dalton Delegate reported.
