Gorman Kreuger Wedding at Lutheran Parsonage

A Christmas Eve ceremony at the Lutheran parsonage united Wm M Gorman and Edna C Kreuger with Rev Grose officiating. Attendants were Will Kreuger Jr and Mary Michaelson, followed by a Gates home supper and Christmas dinner at Richard Kreuger’s. The couple reside on the groom’s farm near Mercer Colorado.

Popular Man Weds at Bellefontaine Home

Announcement of the marriage of Eda Katheryn Bergschicker and C Clyde VanGorder at the brides home in Bellefontaine Ohio on Christmas day followed by their brief visit in the city. Clyde, formerly a Sidney resident, moved to Portland Oregon last year where a home awaits the couple. They plan to reside in Portland after January 15 with many friends sending good wishes including The Telegraph.

Death of L. H. Starrett in Central City Neb

Mrs. M. A. Shipman learns of her father L. H. Starrett’s death from heart disease in Central City Nebraska last Wednesday morning. He was seventy eight. Funeral held Friday in Central City. Mrs Shipman and her husband could not attend. Friends extend sympathy for her loss.

Giant Mallet locomotives bound for Portland rail service

The Cheyenne Tribune notes two Mallet articulated compound locomotives ordered from Baldwin for Union Pacific use on Sherman Hill and Idaho routes. Extremely large, with eight driving wheel pairs and two engine trucks, they exceed standard engines in height length and weight, and feature a 6393 square foot heating surface and ten ton coal capacity.
