A tested example includes an orange and grapefruit salad followed by a hot sauce accompaniment and finishing with a mocha flavored frosting using cocoa and strong coffee.

Food Policy and ASCS urges farmers to decide for 1966 crop

Farmers may choose to participate in commodity programs with guidance from the ASCS and the 1966 crop objectives aligned to the national Food Policy outlined by President Johnson. The President proposed two bills to establish reserves and retain key parts of P L 480, set to take effect January 1967. Officials note limited immediate reserve purchases and emphasize conservation acreage as a major emergency reserve. Farmers in the voluntary feed grain program can plant soybeans on permitted feed grain land and still receive feed grain price-support payments.
