Broken Leg Ends in Timber Mishap Near Pump Kin Creek
Teey William J. Kelly of Pumpkin Creek near Livingston suffered a broken leg when a log toppled onto him while loading a timber onto a wagon. He was freed after four hours by neighbor efforts and taken to Fort Sidney hospital. Kelly, an early settler around Pumpkin Creek, is well known among old residents as a member of the “heart” outfit.
