Raiders Have Three State Champions in 1969 Tourney
Sidney High Red Raiders finished third in the 1969 Nebraska State High School Wrestling Tournament held in Lincoln. Three Raiders won Class B gold medals: Marty Geiger at 120 pounds, Greg Abrams at 127 pounds, and Bob Mika at 138 pounds. Valentine led Class B with three champions, while Sidneys team endured rough openings but produced a strong finish with top medals and a promising outlook for next year.
