Four girls were initiated into Job's Daughters Bethel 25 in a Wednesday ceremony at the Masonic Temple. Honored Queen Renee Kaylor presided as Kristi Bennett Laurie Draper Kim Minshall and Cathy Patterson joined the group with introductions by Mrs. Henry Reitz LaVern Draper Lew Huddleston and others. The next meeting is set for March 5. The Heart Association funded by the Heart Fund promotes awareness of heart disease stroke high blood pressure rheumatic fever rheumatic heart disease and congenital heart defects.

Two Vehicles Demolished in County Intersection Crash
Two vehicles were completely demolished in a county road intersection collision Thursday noon. Both drivers, the sole occupants, escaped with only bruises. Trooper Max Ibach of the Nebraska State Patrol reported.

Collision injures two drivers near Dalton intersection
At 12:50 p.m. a two-vehicle crash occurred one mile south seven west and one south of Dalton involving a northbound 1969 Ford driven by David Harrison James 42 of Littleton and an eastbound 1964 International pickup driven by Berton D Humphries 48 of Kimball. Separately a statement notes heart attacks as the leading US death cause at over 500000 yearly.
