Sidney to Big Spring Extension Planned As Soon As Poles Arrive
The Sidney Julesburg line will extend east to Big Spring and Ogallala as soon as ordered poles arrive. Delays in shipment have held back the project, but the line will run along the Western irrigation ditch and aid residents in the area. The plan reflects ongoing infrastructure improvements reported by the Julesburg Grit. The Dorcas society of the Lutheran Indies hosted a relaxing afternoon with Mrs. Washburn, emphasizing community work without public display, followed by refreshments. County Treasurer Greenlee announces emphasis on collecting 1903 personal taxes and will issue distress warrants for nonpayment once the new tax payment law is in place. The Sacramento Union reviews Guns Sun American Minstrels at Tobin opera house, praising performers and highlighting notable acts and stage settings.
