Kansas Nebraska Natural Gas Company Inc reports 1969 consolidated net income 7.08 million up 9.8 percent from 1968. Gross operating revenues rise 18 percent to 73.79 million. Industrial and non utility businesses supply about 35 percent of revenue. Cape Construction contributions noted. Year end gas reserves equal 18.6 years of 1969 demand, with 35 percent company owned.

New Morrill County field sees three producers in test
Toltek Drilling Co and Crest Resources secured a drilling permit for No 1 Iupascotes in a new Morrill County field now producing three wells. Through the period the field shows three successes and two failures with additional permits in Banner, Cheyenne, Kimball, and Red Willow counties as industry eyes winter activity. The Nebraska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission notes 1969 closed with 991 866 barrels produced in December and only 17 permits issued in January due to severe cold.
