The Union Pacific plans a modern sheep handling stock yard east of the viaduct with ten to fifteen arc lights. The project, estimated costly, aims to serve two to three hundred cars of sheep daily and keep stock fed at least 24 hours. Local impact and further developments are highlighted.
Henry Randall of Bayard visits Sidney on Wednesday while H E Gapen attends land office business in Sterling. At the Tobin opera house the Dunbars attracted a huge Monday crowd in Winston NC. Daily Sentinel notes the response to Harry Dunbar and the quartette was overwhelming with multiple encores.
