LINCOLN The prospects for serious grasshopper infestations of rangeland in Nebraska appear to be much less this year, based on a 1968 fall survey. The survey showed only 10,000 acres seriously infested, compared with more than 1.5 million acres in 1967 and 100,000 acres in 1966. An infestation is considered economically significant when as many as eight grasshoppers.
