Ex-Daltonite Bert Hoskinson dies in California
A letter from the Den slow girls in Pacific Grove reports the death of Bert Hoskinson on December 31 at age 75. Born May 21, 1870, he came to Cheyenne County in 1918 and lived there most of his life before moving to California in 1951. He lived with the Denslow girls, worked for their father and grandfather at Hooper, Nebraska, and later with John Davison. He served as manager for the Denslow section, now owned by the Farrs, and spent his final years with various families in California.
