Honor Students Named In New Grading System At Vo Tech
Western Nebraska Vocational Technical School adopts a 0 to 5 grading scale for honor recognition. Top honorees from Airframe and Power Plant include Richard Kamler, Dale Melvin, and John Trail, each with a 5.0. Other department honorees span Basic Auto Mechanics, Auto Mechanics, Auto Body, Building Construction, Drafting, Electronics, and Tractor Diesel with high averages such as 4.90 for Nyle Erxleben and 4.87 for Larry Larson. The system aims to boost incentive and competition. a note recalls Nemaha University at Archer, chartered by Nebraska’s Territorial Legislature but never realized.
