Festival of Lights Brightens Tucson Christmas Glow
In Tucson the Festival of Lights at Winterhaven draws visitors from the metro area. C.B. Richards built the subdivision in 1949 and 270 homes join the city in listing 600 light strands on 150 evergreens across 14 streets. The Winterhaven Water and Development Co funds more than 700 in prize money across five decoration categories.
