Kimball to raise hot lunch price by a nickel
Kimball school lunch prices will rise to five cents more per meal starting January 1, per Superintendent Max Hensley. Current lunches cost 30 cents each and the move comes after the program incurred about 1700 in losses this year due to reduced federal subsidies. The district serves over 16,000 meals monthly as the elementary board also heard about bus transportation and insurance at its last meeting.
