Santa's Mailbox Christmas Wish List Highlights
A parade of child letters from Sidney and Benkelman Nebraska reveal Christmas wishes across ages from 2 to 19 months. They request dolls, toy trucks, windup trains, a Winnibego camper, a windup putt-putt, a GI Joe set, a bake oven, a baby buggy, a pool table, and various clothes. Several children offer cookies and milk for Santa and note moves to trailer houses or new siblings.

Christ the Savior Born in Bethlehem Lent to Redeem
Analysis of Christmas as more than sentiment argues that Christ is both newborn baby and risen Lord. The newborn Christ symbolizes dependence and humility, while the Lordship and redemptive work demand faith, witness, and devotion beyond mere infant adoration. Believers must fix on Jesus' birth, death, and resurrection as the central gospel.
