China pheasants not harmful on farms per surveys
Survey results from the state game commission and Prof. T. C. Allen of Oregon State College show China pheasants feed mainly on pests and weeds, with crop seed intake limited. Analyses of stomach contents reveal insects, weed seeds, and scattered crop seeds, balancing pest control with farm crop impact. A Scottsbluff meeting to form tentative organization plans follows.

The Nebraska wheat pool known as the Midr ¢ Gaim and Marketin g association will receive an additional $200000 loan from the Federal Farm Board, bringing total commitments to about half a million dollars.
