The Bad Lands and the Red Indian Lament
Prof Bailey describes a wild Bad Lands region with 200 to 600 foot cliffs and a vast inland lake as a potential battle ground with fossil beds, giant reptiles, and prehistoric life. He cautions that the area is a perilous maze of valleys, ruins, and deserts promising dramatic encounters in the northwest frontier.
