Sidney man found dead outside his home Friday
An elderly Sidney man Leroy Maxwell Johnson 72 of 908 Grant was found dead outside his home Friday afternoon. Cheyenne County Sheriff Oren Cox said the body was found after a caller alerted Sidney police. Temperatures dropped to 12 degrees overnight and foul play is not suspected though an autopsy decision was pending.

The Colorado Wheat Administrative Committee says Gov Lamm may seek 40 000 to study an experimental gasohol facility in northeast Colorado.
