The Nebraska county board opened the December session with audits of accounts and protests to tax assessments, adjourned to December 18. entries include road description for section 2, township 13, range 50, and a long list of claims paid to residents, jurors, witnesses, and suppliers with amounts, including multiple road overseer expenses and county services.

W A Grosvenor Dies in Sidney After Illness

William A Grosvenor born 1869 in Iowa died November 10 in Sidney Nebraska from typhoid fever. He moved to Curtis area, then Cheyenne county, worked as a machinist for Union Pacific. He served in Rough Riders during the Spanish American War and was married in 1899 to Florence Hadley with two children. funeral held at Methodist church with AOUW lodge and Highlander lodge pallbearing. he carried insurance in both lodges.
