Plan to raise funds for Masonic Temple reported
Frank Welch Lodge No. 75 A. F. and A. M. approved a committee plan to fund a new Masonic Temple. Shares of stock at twenty two dollars each would fund construction, with 50 percent due March 1 and 50 percent due June 20. Local and eastern investors were canvassed, and plans include three stories with stores on ground floor, a large hall on the second, and Masonic rooms on the third.
