Truck driver blamed for chain of six vehicle wrecks in Sidney
John B Kelly 44 of Greeley Colorado drove a 1953 Ford truck east on Jackson Street causing a chain of collisions. Six vehicles plus two parking meters sustained damage totaling thousands. The Crookshank sedan was totaled and Kelly was charged with reckless driving.

Millet contract final load heads to International Multifoods
The last of ten semi trailer loads of millet was delivered to International Multifoods in Towner Colorado under a National Farmers Organization contract at 5.50 a hundredweight, above the local market.
