Oxo-Gas Burner Demonstrations At Local Shops
H. O. Shunk, Colorado Oxo-Gas Heating Co representative, has been giving demonstrations at the Electric Shoe Shop for several days. The burner sold well and many Sidney homes have installed it. Demonstrations will move to the Essig Hardware Co basement. The Oxo-Gas burner, fuelled by common coal oil, installs in any stove or furnace and burns without soot or odor. It is touted as economical during coal scarcity. Sidney men consider manufacturing and making the city a distributing center.

The relocation comes during remodeling to convert the hall above the Variety Store into a central station for the Nebraska Telephone Company which has leased the building's second floor. Proprietors Doran and Hadley express satisfaction with the new, conveniently located quarters amid a shortage of Sidney office space.
