Gasoline Price Cuts Hit Nebraska and Midwest

Grain producers press for a fixed price of 1.75 per bushel while gasoline falls to 16 to 15.8 cents a gallon in Nebraska and across the Midwest. The price drop, driven by Governor Bryan’s demand and an exposé of pricing, lowers tank wagon figures to about 14.24 cents. States from Illinois to Kentucky also report similar reductions, saving an estimated 9 million dollars annually if sustained.
