Seventy Brownies from Sidney Sundl and Potter attended a five day day camp at Legion Park. Sessions ran nine to three with meal planning and cooking out. Leaders included Mrs Joe Schaf director and Mrs Frank Schuppan business manager.

Charges Filed In Accidents In Sidney Weekend
Sidney police investigated four accidents Friday and Saturday. Four drivers face charges, including Ruth Rule for no license and Bill Hodgdon for no license. Victim Fred Reetz, a Potter resident, was treated and released from Memorial Hospital in Sidney.

Firemen Banquet Set for Sept 24 at Elks Auditorium
The North Platte Valley Volunteer Fireman Association annual banquet will be held at the Elks Auditorium in Sidney on Saturday September 24. All active inactive and retired firemen may attend. Tickets are available at the Sidney Fire Hall by September 17. The highlight will be trophy presentations from the NPW tournament.

They will dine at Sidney Country Club with judges then perform their talent. Gene Lienemann hosts the interview and presentation. Each candidate answers a question as judges complete their ratings. All receive a centennial hat bracelet and tie. The winner gets a bouquet and a free five day trip to Lincoln.

Tractor Driving Contest At Cheyenne County Fair
The Cheyenne County 4-H Tractor Driving Contest will be a final day event at the fairgrounds. About 15 boys with 4-H tractor project experience will compete at 8 30 a m in front of the grandstand, demonstrating skill with a two wheel wagon through a course and answering a safety questionnaire. A four wheel wagon may be used if time allows, and the winner may qualify for the State Tractor Driving Contest at Lincoln during the State Fair.
