Marketing Of Cattle Starts
SCOTTSBLUFF The marketing of the region s No 1 crop cattle is just beginning for the fall season. Prices are expected to be similar to last year in the short run with optimism for a bit higher figures. A large feed crop and low grain costs could sustain demand for feeder cattle while the long run may see pressure from the expansive feed situation. Yearling steers likely average 26 50 to 27 50 per hundredweight.
