Dalton High School Class of 1961 Reunion Report

The Dalton High School Class of 1961 held a weekend reunion with seven of fifteen members attending a Saturday dinner at Ft. Sidney Motor Hotel and an alumni dance sponsored by the American Legion. Several attendees listed include Fred Yarney and Janice Neick of Scappoose Oregon, Bob Jones and Linda Ziegler of Salt Lake City Utah, Leon Gillespie and Shirley Brown of Gothenburg, Chuck Krager of New Castle Wyoming, Rollin Westerhoff of Wheatland Colorado, Jim White of Lincoln, and Bruce Kreager of Sidney. A Sunday visit at Dalton Park drew Bob Jones, who was absent at the park. The gathering featured musics by Millard Music and a note that no guest book was kept. Additional items mention hospitalizations for Lawrence Bowman in Sidney and Denver, various local visits, engagements and church activities, and several communities near Dalton contributing to the weekend’s social scene.
