Truth Wrongs No Man More County Fair News

Cheyenne County Board approves road No 100 A project

The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners meets August 6 1910 in Sidney Neb. Present are Chairman Lewis Brett and members Haieton Barlow with county attorney Martina and clerk Doran. They adopt a rule barring claims unless filed with the county clerk by session day, authorize advertising a new public highway along Union Pacific right of way, designate Road No 100 A, order surveying and staking, assign road overseers to Lodgepole and Colton precincts and begin work. The board audits numerous claims for road and bridge work, supplies, and salaries, then adjourns to September 6 1910.
