Dix School Opening Set for August Twenty Sixth
The Dix Public School plans 245 enrollees for the term, with 128 in high school and 117 in elementary. Classes start Monday August 26, with teacher workshops August 22-23. Superintendent W D Brawner enters his 19th year in the system and 16th as superintendent. M E Quillen is high school principal and teaches Social Studies. The faculty includes returning staff and several new teachers from Nebraska and Wyoming. a third grade vacancy remains. Printing is advertised at The Sidney Telegraph.
