Proprieties A W Davis and J H W Marks, with about fifty workers, were arrested and held for hearing in Greensburg. The girl testified of assault and threats in a series of wagons and tents, with some details deemed unfit for print. Funds were raised to help the family seek justice, and A H Coffroth volunteered for the prosecution. The girl was found later on Laurel Hill en route to Somerset.
