Gurley Band and Chorus Earn Superior and Excellent Ratings
Gurley music group competed at the District Music Contest in Alliance on April 21 1966. Soloists and small groups earned several ratings including Superior for piano and vocal solos, Excellent for others, with chorus receiving Superior and band Excellent. Centennial pine planting, Arbor Day events, and local notices follow.
