Recognition Centennial Trees At North Ward School To Scouters Set May 1st
Boy Scouts of America Council President Henry D Kosman announced the annual Wye Braska area council scouter recognition dinner to be held at Scottsduff high school cafeteria on May 1. About 309 scouters and wives from 15 Nebraska and Wyoming counties are expected at 5 30 p m to honor adult volunteer scouters for outstanding service to youth. Kosman will preside and lead recognitions including veteran awards, training awards, and two unusual honors woodbadge training award and a scholarship to Eagle Scout Charles Roades from the Readers Digest foundation. Silver Beaver Awards will be given to three Wyoming Scouters. Major E Banks USAF will deliver the challenge address. Reservations at the scout service center in Scottsbluff are invited.
