Western Nebraska meet draws county teams bids for glory
Scottbluff led the Grand Championship with 72.5 points, Alliance 57, Scottsbluff 57, Gering 40.5, Sidney 29.75, and Sidney St. Patrick’s 3. The meet at Scottsbluff on Saturday saw Harrisburg, Ogallala, Dix, Lodgepole, Potter, Pine Bluffs, Lewellen, Mullen, Cody, Dalton, Lyman, Hemingford and other county teams competing across group competition and individual events led by standout performances from Sidney and Potter sprinters, distance runners, and field event athletes.
