Sidney Raiders Fourth at Western Conference Meet

Sidney finished fourth at the Western Conference track meet in Scottsbluff with two first places. Rod Rezac won the high jump at 5-11 and Rick Seidel captured the discus at 139-32, while Seidel also took third in the triple jump 42-4. Gering dominated the meet, and Sidney advances to the Gothenburg Relays Tuesday.

Sidney takes three firsts in JH Meet at Trackorama

Sidney athletes claim three first places as Raider junior highs finish fifth in Freshman and seventh in Junior High divisions. Matzke wins 440 in freshman class, Schilreff vaults 9 6, and Ammerman Lubash Weinmaster Rogers lead 440 relay in 50.4 to set meet record. Other Sidney placers include Haupt Kuhns Matzke Ross Lubash and team notes from competing schools.

Sidney finishes third in the Western Conference meet at Chadron led by Dean Josten with 77 and 83 in the two days and fourth in the individual standings.
