County Opposes Tax Formula Change in Gas Funds
The county board opposed LB726 to substitute the 1960 census for the 1950 census in gas tax fund distributions. They warn the county would receive a smaller share under the new method and sent the resolution to Senator Fleming for awareness when the bill reaches the floor. The board also authorized Arapahoe Pipe Line to lay oil gathering lines crossing county roads in the west part of the county.
