Easter Festivities Shine Across City Churches With Devotion
Easter Sunday observances featured elaborate musical programmes and floral decorations at Lutheran Episcopal and Methodist churches. Rev Albert preached at the Lutheran church with C D Essig leading the choir and Miss Lillie Chowins on organ. The Episcopal ceremonies included Calla Lilies from Mr Frank Moore and a sermon by Rev Beecher, with Bishop Graves confirming two parishioners in the evening. The Methodist services included Rev Randolph and a well received Sunday school concert.
