Nebraska hijacker killed at Denver by federal agents
A Nebraska man, Roger L Lentz, 31, was shot to death by FBI sharpshooters at Denver Stapleton Airport after hijacking a private Piper Navaho and then a Convair 990 from Grand Island. The incident ended a 13 hour drama as agents and pilots faced Lentz who demanded a flight to Mexico.

Rural hospital specialist to visit Nebraska over Medicare fears
A rural hospital specialist from the Senate Finance Committee will spend two to three days in Nebraska late May meeting with Nebraska Hospital Association officials. The visit follows NHA concerns over Medicare reimbursement policies for hospitals with attached nursing homes, which the association says cost Nebraskans about 2.5 million dollars annually.
