Sidney Council keeps sewer plant at current site in decision

Oliver Dam hearing set for April at Kimball County High School
South Platte Natural Resources District schedules a public hearing for April 26 at 7 pm at Kimball County High School to discuss the Oliver Dam project and land acquisition. The meeting follows a 42 hour session previewing the Hoskins Western Sonderegger recreation plan and input from landowners Singleton Tomich and Forsling on public, private, and mixed use options including a large potential land donation and hundreds of recreational housing lots. The board plans to select an appraiser and will decide on final actions at the next regular meeting in May, with by law adoption tabled and a Potter drainage study committee formed.
