Mixed flax wheat crop yields easier harvests in Goodhue County

A. C. Dillman of the US Department of Agriculture reports that growing a flax and wheat mixed crop in Goodhue County reduces weeds, disease, and risk while easing harvesting, shocking, and threshing. The plan is not a cure-all. success depends on flax-friendly land and early sowing.
