Love and Champagne Corks at the Beaumont Villa
A party at Harry Beaumont’s Richmond villa plots a marriage matching Blanche Bloomwood to Frank Treverton. After revelations of Blanche’s plain looks and Frank’s risky proposal, Blanche declines with dignity. Frank receives a cork keepsake and falls quietly in love, reassessing his views on beauty and merit.
