Swanson Captures 100 and 220 at Alliance Meet

Jerry Swanson of Sidney wins the 100 yard dash in 10.4 seconds and the 220 in 23.0 at the 14th Alliance Invitational. Gary Neibauer of Scottsbluff sets a high jump record at 6 feet and runs the 180 yard low hurdles in 20.7. Scottsbluff sweeps Class A with Oshkosh claiming Class B.

Baseball Club Meeting Sets 1963 Officers and Summer Plans

A meeting of the 17 Baseball Club is scheduled for Wednesday April 10 at 7 30 pm in the Episcopal Church Parish Hall. All who want to join the Junior and Midget programs are urged to attend to elect officers for the 1963 season and discuss the coming summer program. The date was moved from last week.
