Jennie Lulla Hunnicutt daughter of Mr and Mrs Jesse Hunnicutt died Monday March 28 1927 at home after more than four months illness from influenza and pneumonia. A 1905 born resident of Diller Nebraska she moved to Sidney eleven years ago and worked as night chief operator for Northwestern Bell. Funeral held Wednesday at 2:30 PM at M E church with Rev Kaub officiating and burial at Sidney cemetery Howard's Funeral chapel in charge.

The Sidney Daily Vacation Bible School council met March 20 at the M. E. parsonage to set a four week term beginning before dismissal. A four teacher limit was agreed with one dollar per day pay for teachers and the janitor. An executive committee of three, chaired by Judge Elmer Kahl, will manage affairs. Tuition set at one dollar per scholar from a family and fifty cents for other family members.
