Easter Service At Methodist Church Performed By Sidney Artists

The Easter service at the Methodist Church featured Sidney singers in a well received program. Performers included tenors Iarth, Jones, Millett, Owens, Rudd and others, with Mrs Ahrens and Mrs Garrison among the sopranos, and Mrs Bennett and Miss Christensen in altos. Accompanist Dorothy Wright and director Mrs Garrison led a generous choir through pieces such as Sing Unto the Lord and Behold the Lamb, ending with a grand unison of voices. The sanctuary was decorated by Mrs T Porter Bennet with a white lily gate and cross lit by pale green lights.
